How do I get a quote for renting gear?
Two ways!
1. You can visit the rentals tab, add items to your cart and “checkout” you will not be charged. This will send you and the bad neighbor team a quote where we will review and reach out within 1 business day.2. Contact us directly at rentals@badneighbor.studio or text/call (619) 289-7512

Do I need Insurance?
Yes! All renters are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance that covers the replacement amount of the rented film and/or photography equipment.
It must also list Bad Neighbor as both the additionally insured and loss payee. -
What if I don't have insurance?
If you do not have rental insurance you can rent from us on our Sharegrid page
Sharegrid is a rental platform that offers short term insurance to cover every rental and keep both parties at ease.
Otherwise we suggest getting renters insurance through a company like Athos or similar.

Where are you located? What are your hours?
We are located near Old Town San Diego. Just minutes from the San Diego International Airport and Downtown.
We are open by appointment only but available 7 days a week.

What time can I pick up and return?
Thanks for asking! All rentals are available to pick up at 1pm on the pickup day and due back no later than Noon on the return day.
Orders picked up before 1pm on the pickup day will be charged an additional 1 day rental fee.
Orders returned later than Noon on the return day will inquire an additional rental day fee for being late.

Do you offer prep spaces?
Yes! We have one medium sized prep room to build and test equipment before taking it on the job.
Available upon request.

Do you offer delivery and pick up?
Yes! We do offer delivery and pickup within San Diego County for an additional fee dependent on distance from our HQ.
